Mosaic was founded by Dave Namkung and Bethel Lee and named after our son, Moses, who is on the autism spectrum.
As parent-advocates who grew up as immigrants in affordable housing, we understand personally how access to housing, education, and community support can shape a family’s opportunities—and how much depends on the people leading those organizations.
These experiences inform the care and investment we bring to our searches. Alongside our professional expertise and community relationships, they help us understand our clients’ work and tell their stories with conviction.
Our practice extends across non-profit, public, and private organizations. We bring the same close attention to each organization’s purpose, people, and leadership needs.

Dave Namkung
Co-founder & Managing Director
Dave has worked in executive search and legal recruitment since 2011, advising boards and leadership teams on appointments, succession, and strategic growth. His experience spans non-profits, law firms, universities, municipalities, crown corporations, and public and private businesses.Before founding Mosaic, Dave was a Principal with a national executive search firm and a founding member of its national Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee. He holds business and law degrees from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University.

Alana Briggs
Executive Search Consultant
Alana’s experience includes launching an in-house executive search service for one of Canada’s largest health authorities, building a recruitment team focused on Vice President, Executive Director, and medical leadership appointments. She also spent a decade in agency recruitment and management.Alana holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, is a Certified Personnel Consultant through ACSESS, and completed a Certificate in Foundations in Diversity and Inclusion from the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion.

Bethel Lee
Co-founder & Chief Administrative Officer
Bethel oversees Mosaic’s communications, project management, and technology, supporting the delivery of our searches and the systems behind our work. A writer, editor, facilitator, and speaker, she brings over 15 years of communications and project management experience across non-profit, business, and post-secondary settings.She holds a BA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Master of Divinity from Duke University.
