Your privacy matters to us. Mosaic Search (“Mosaic,” “we,” “us”) is an executive and legal search firm based in British Columbia. We are committed to protecting the personal information of the candidates, clients and contacts we work with, in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.
Information we collect
We collect personal information you provide to us directly, such as when you send us a resume, speak with us, or contact us through our website. This may include your name, contact details (email, phone and mobile number), employment history, education, professional qualifications, compensation expectations, and notes from our conversations. We may also collect professional information from publicly available sources, such as LinkedIn or law society directories.
How we use your information
We use your information to assess your fit for current and future opportunities and present you to clients with your knowledge; to communicate with you about searches, interviews, applications and updates; to manage our relationships with clients and business contacts; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
With your consent, we may send you text messages about scheduling, search updates and your application status. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used only to send the messages you have agreed to receive.
Sharing your information
We share candidate information with a client only in connection with a specific opportunity and with your knowledge. We also use trusted service providers to operate our business, such as our recruitment database, phone and email systems. These providers may store data outside Canada and are required to protect it. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect it.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to consider you for opportunities.
SMS Terms & Conditions
By agreeing to receive text messages from Mosaic Search, you consent to receive conversational messages about interview scheduling, search updates and your application status. Consent is not a condition of working with us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP; you will receive one confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or contact info@mosaicsearch.ca.
